well today jack and me ventured out on the train to Dalton zoo in cumbria, first train took us to Preston, then we changed again at Lancaster then a very pleasant journey to Dalton, Jack always insists on us walking, well the zoo is about a mile from the staition, and it's UPHILL, we got there and it was a bit drizzly but soon the sun came out.
What a fantastic place, all the animals are kept in the best surroundings, nearest to there natural habitat, and you can get very close to them.
The only downside was the trip home, one train was late so we missed our connections, so we didn't get home till 9.30pm.
