Handbags and Bookmarks

The bookmarks were made for me by the lovely LoobyLou, we took part in a swap on craftelly.com she stiched the most beautiful stiches on the back of the one with my name on. The other 2 handbag cards (sorry for the double pic) I made today, the handbag templates are from anita's and the papers are a mix of papermanis and DaisyD's, I'll show them to my mums friend tomorow as she buys cards from me and needs to replenish her supplies, I'm also going to have to make some sympathy cards for her as she has run out, never made any of those before. Well I've been kinda bored today, not a lover of bank holidays, but don't like working on them either! lol

3 new cards

My mums neighbour has asked me to make some cards for her, I made some hunky dory cards for mum, the window to your hearts ones, not my usual, but the older people like them, these 3 are Kanban ones, I've just ordered some more hunky dory for the neighbour.

SADNESS

Last week my darling dad passed away, leaving us totally devasted, it was unexpected and sudden, he was admitted to hospital on the 13th May and passed away on the 17th May, he was 77 years old. The thing that totally messes with your head is the fact that they seem to get better, then tragically they die.

I'm sure I will talk about my dad a lot on here now, as I miss him terribly, he was an HGV driver most of his life and as a fitting tribute, we had his coffin put on a lorry to take him to the crem, it was a beautiful funeral, and a beautiful day.

IT'S ALL HAPPENING!!

I've made this bookmark for a swap that I'm in using hero arts stamps

This is a card in progress made using a download from the lovely Kirsty and 3 white flowers which I have stamped

Today I went to portolio arts and crafts to a demo day and ended up doing a make and take, here's the card I made

I went to a very nice workshop at topaz with the very talented Lindsay Mason and made a ranger tecnique mirror, we learnt different tecniques with UTEE, memory glass, mould and pour beeswax and many more things, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wow, been busy lately, I was extremely honoured to be asked by the wonderful Kirsty Wiseman to make card samples for her latest CD, it's absolutley fab, I love it, I was in a bit of a flap, because I wasn't sure if I had any ribbon in the right colour, petty I know, but I managed to deliver and Kirsty was very pleased with them, phew, I can't tell you how excited I was to see them on screen on create and craft, fame at last, lol Here are the cards I made.
