FINALLY MADE SOME XMAS CARDS!

Well finally over the last few weeks I've gotten round to making some christmas cards, yipppeeee! I shall now attempt to put them on here, here goes!

This was made using decoupage, the cutting out type, which took me ages, it's for my auntie .

70TH CARD

YEAH, FINALLY DONE SOME CRAFTING

Today I finally got off my butt and made 2 crafty things, the first is a gift box, using a K and Co box template, easy peasy, then the other is a 70th birthday card for MIL, using my lovely cuttlebug, and some DCWV card, and some stickles glue.

PHEW WHAT A BUSY DAY!

I'm sat here chilling at the mo with a bowl of nuts and raisins and a bottle of stella! Decided to finally sort my craft stuff out today in anticipation of making some xmas cards and finally scrapping some photo's. I found stuff I didn't know I had, I threw, yes threw some stuff I decided I no longer liked away. I also cut some alphabets from my much abandoned cuttlebug and embossed some backgrounds, I'm buzzing now and hope to get creative er, soon!

tuesday 6th aug 08 dalton zoo

well today jack and me ventured out on the train to Dalton zoo in cumbria, first train took us to Preston, then we changed again at Lancaster then a very pleasant journey to Dalton, Jack always insists on us walking, well the zoo is about a mile from the staition, and it's UPHILL, we got there and it was a bit drizzly but soon the sun came out.
What a fantastic place, all the animals are kept in the best surroundings, nearest to there natural habitat, and you can get very close to them.
The only downside was the trip home, one train was late so we missed our connections, so we didn't get home till 9.30pm.

Today I went to Topaz Crafts, home of Dawn Bibby had quite a good day, met some lovely people including Kirsty Wiseman who works for DoCrafts. I intend to do some crafting tomorow so watch this space

wooaaa this is scary, never blogged before, so bear with me. I've initially started this blog to try and get my creativity flowing again, I'm hoping to make some cards and display them on here. So I'll be back watch this space!
